Creamy Guacamole Dip


2 cups nonfat yogurt
1 ripe avocado (1/2 cup)
2 scallions, whole stalk
1 clove garlic
Juice of 1 lemon
Chili powder to taste
Cumin to taste

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Chill. You can serve this as a dip with unsalted crackers or toasted wedges of corn tortillas. To prepare the tortillas, cut them into wedges and spread them out on a cookie sheet. Bake them at 400°, checking them every 2 minutes, until they are lightly browned. Fresh vegetable sticks also make delicious scoopers for this dip.
